Personal Bio:  Mrs. Davis has spent over twenty years in the field of education. She graduated with a B.S in Elementary Education from Texas Wesleyan University. Following that she worked for Fort Worth ISD specializing in programs that worked with at risk students that were English Language Learners.  Mrs. Davis eventually stepped out of the classroom and worked as an Educational Consultant for a teacher certification program.  Mrs. Davis was a lead instructor that taught  new teacher seminars, did educational coaching and evaluations for K-12 teachers throughout FWISD.  Mrs. Davis grew up as a Baptist preacher’s daughter in a family where ministry was embedded into everything.  It was no surprise that after more than a decade in public education, Mrs. Davis felt the Lord call her into Christian education where she would have the opportunity not only to teach, but also impact children’s relationships with Jesus.  Mrs. Davis came to Trinity Christian Academy in 2015 as a second grade teacher and soon after completed her Master’s in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. Mrs. Davis lives in Cresson  with her husband Nathan, daughter Ellie, dogs Rosie and Charlie, cat Poncho, and too many chickens to count. Mrs. Davis and her family attend High Ridge Church. She loves to spend time with her family, drink coffee on her back porch,  travel, read, and work in her garden.

Role at TCA: Mrs. Davis has always had a passion for Early Childhood Education and helping to build  a strong foundation for future learning for all students in developmentally appropriate ways.  Over the years Mrs. Davis has worked to grow the Early Childhood Department at TCA.  Mrs. Davis founded the Pre-K Bridge program at TCA to provide a transitional kindergarten program for students as well as serving as the Early Childhood Director.   After more than 10 years at TCA and more than two decades in education, Mrs. Davis is humbled to be able to serve the students, teachers, and families of Trinity Christian Academy in this role.

Why is TCA a special place for you?  Mrs. Davis says, “TCA will always be a home away from home, and like an extended family..  Teachers have poured into my own daughter over the years, leaders and fellow teachers have encouraged me along the way, and some of my closest relationships have come from those at TCA. The heart of TCA is different from anywhere else I have ever been.  Teachers and families here love Jesus and each other. TCA is committed to sharing Jesus in everything that they do and  I am just so honored to be a part of the TCA family.”
